The mission of the New York City Interscholastic Math League (NYCIML) is to challenge and entertain mathematically-interested high school students with high-quality mathematics competitions. We are dedicated to providing contests that are educational and fun to all students and coaches.
NYCIML is a great preparation for other mathematics contests. Our participants often excel as members of the New York City Math Team at NYSML, ARML and other national contests. We hope that through NYCIML, students can explore more options to challenge themselves.
Learning mathematics is a life-long process. We encourage students to sharpen their abilities to tackle challenging math questions through our contests. At the same time, we hope that NYCIML will promote the growth of their problem-solving skills, as well as an interest and excitement about math.
